Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.
Baseline Year: 2024 (01/01/24 - 31/12/24)
Scope 1 – Based on business mileage
Scope 2 – Office Carbon emissions
Scope 3 – Other business travel including train journeys
Category 4 - zero emissions, as a Consulting business emissions in this category are close to zero, and are included in Scope 2).
Category 5 - no waste other than minimal office waste is generated within the business, also included in Scope 2.

Emissions Reduction Targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving net zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets;
· Prioritise electric vehicles over diesel
. Reduce fossil fuel use by switching to renewable sources of energy, through energy supplier
· Introduce a ‘No flying Policy’ unless no alternatives available
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 2.973 tCO2e by 2030. This is a reduction of 54%
2024 was the baseline year for our organisation, and future years will be measured against this baseline data.
Future carbon reduction initiatives
As an organisation we have identified our greatest impact can be made in effectively managing business travel. As a company we have therefore committed to the use of electric vehicles in the future, and also to the use of train travel wherever possible.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 006 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard[1] and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard[3].
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors.
